Bloomington Bison Head Coach and VP of Hockey Operations, Phillip Barski, announced today that the team has signed forward Seth Bernard to a standard player contract.
Bernard, 24, has recorded three goals and six points in five games with the SPHL’s Evansville Thunderbolts so far this season. He joined the Thunderbolts en route to a Championship last spring after completing his collegiate career and played in 10 regular season games and three playoff games.
The 6-foot-4, 190-pound Braintree, Massachusetts native played four seasons of college hockey for the Milwaukee School of Engineering Red Raiders and recorded 72 points (38g-34a) and 97 penalty minutes with a +14 rating in 101 NCAA Division-III games played.
Prior to joining to the academic hockey ranks, Bernard played one season with the National Collegiate Development Conference’s New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs and notched five goals and 11 points in 43 games.
