Meet Abe, a friendly bison with a big heart and a fierce passion for Bloomington Bison hockey. Abe went from the open fields to the ice and brought the wild energy of the prairie with him. Born on the plains of Illinois, Abe had always been a natural athlete. Whether running with the herd or leaping over streams, he was known for his speed and strength.

Being a mascot and a person’s best friend. Abe’s great-great-grandpa grew up being Abraham Lincoln’s best friend and pet. To show the power of their friendship, Lincoln gave him his famous top hat, which has been passed down through generations. When Abe became the mascot for the Bison, his father gave him the hat to show how proud he was of him.

Abe is known for his larger-than-life personality, his kind heart, and his fiery spirit, which perfectly matches the heat of the game. The ice is his domain, and he's here to ensure every game is filled with excitement, energy, and bison-sized pride!
